Sorry, Paul, that I have not dug into this before.  My only excuse, is that
I had a hard drive failure.

The good news is, that it seems to we working for me now.  I don't know why
it wasn't before.

I want to do some more testing, and I want to go over the code and make sure
I understand it.  But I will try to get this committed this week.
