Not all plugins run on all platforms.  MNV has only been designed and
tested (and thus is only supported) on Linux.  I don't make any
claims, nor do I have any expectation that it is supported under OS X,
mostly because I believe the python bindings still have issues there,
and MNV requires them.

Also, WRT your MythGallery patch, MythGallery's UI has been rewritten
for MythUI and what you saw/expected in .21 is not necessarily true of
.22+.  The screenshot you display shows folders of images, and it's
quite likely that when the UI was rewritten, nobody wrote any
functionality to recurse into directories to display a thumbnail for a
folder-- If MythGallery were my plugin I'd likely close the ticket as
invalid (but would accept a patch).  That'll be up to Gavin, though.
