This would be my preferred method as well.  No FPS conversions necessary
and it's always 'X' frames max, no matter what the FPS.  The 5-10 seconds
was just something to show how high it might be set, although I'm fine
with it being much lower, on the order of 30 frames max.  Blank frame
sequences much longer than 2x that are rare anyway.
