Sure, We can meet on #mythtv (freenode) and discuss this further.

One thing for sure though, if you send a PATCH that _changes_ terms
already present in the source under the assumption of a convention
that hasn't been agreed upon it won't get commited. For the time
being, please clean this patch so it doesn't make that kind of
changes so we can commit and close this bug.

Any further discussions should lead to a different bug report, hopefully
with a new patch attached :)
