Hi Mike,
I'm afraid not. I did the steps below in order:

1. Shutdown the frontend
2. Stop the backend
3. Go into mythtv-setup, change the initial channel to 700 (an HD Channel)
4. Restart the backend - STB is sent "7" "0" "0" at this time and
changes channels successfully
5. Startup the frontend
6. Try to watch LiveTV - The STB is sent "0" "0" "3" as soon as I select
live TV and returns to the SD channel (003).
7. LiveTV Starts successfully on the SD channel. Any attempt to change
to a HD channel causes the same bug as described in the ticket.
