[mythtv] 4 digit channel support

Good question - I didn't think about that. The only problem I see
there is if the channel lineup does not include any channels >= 1000
but the cable box still expects 4 digits. For example, the user may
not care about the channels >= 1000 (doesn't want to waste the
time/storage grabbing listings, maybe can't tune them anyway due to
those channels being encrypted), so he removes them from his lineup.

Personally, I would still make it an option and default it based on
the channel lineup like you suggest. In my mind, properly defaulted
options aren't a bad thing. In this particular case (firewire cable
box setup), I think that there are only 5 or so options anyway (I
don't have the configuration screen in front of me), so one more isn't
a big deal in my opinion.

However, even if I don't get my configuration option, I'll still shut
up about it :)

If I make the modifications necessary to support 4 digit channels, I'd
still appreciate help with the supporting logic for determining the
correct number of channels (i.e. querying the channel list and getting
that info into the firewire device class).
