I've just confirmed that this problem doesn't exist on the French
translation, which perhaps could indicate that my ticket is invalid
and the problem is caused by something else. Or at least that not all
languages are affected.

As far as I can tell, the two source files "mythfrontend_fr.ts" and
"mythfrontend_da.ts" both have fully valid translations of the
affected strings. One example:

But for some reason, the French translation works, while the Danish
one doesn't. There's no string called "No episode limit" in any of the
plugins, which could conflict. There's no special characters in the
Danish translation which potentially could make it untranslatable
compared to the French translation.

Both translation files were generated with "lupdate translate.pro &&
lrelease translate.pro" against r23773 and copied into a MythBuntu
trunk r23772.

Does anyone with better understanding of QT/Linguist have an idea of
what the cause might be? I can't wrap my head around this one.
