[mythtv] Server - client concept of MythVideo, MythMusic, MythGallery

Hello all,

is there a plan, that MythVideo, MythMusic and MythGallery can extend the 
mythbackend to stream the content from the backend server to the frontends?

This would be great, because in most cases the backend server hosts all of the 
contents. Nearly no one would have all his video files on two disks (local and 
backend pc). I know, that the remote folders can be mounted locally, but this 
is not quite a good solution, because it is much work to get a good running 
solution and it is often not really needed.

To view DVD, a switch between local cdrom device and remote device would be 
greate too, because many notebooks does not have a cdrom device, but the 
backend can have one and watching dvd on all stations will be possible.
