If you would like them implemented it might be worth knowing that you 
should raise a ticket for it in trac [1]

Before you do, make sure you write your patch for a more recent version 
of MythTV. The current general available version is 0.22 and the devs 
are working hard on releasing 0.23 in a few months.

When generating the patch please use "diff -u" (or "svn diff" when you 
have made changes in a subversion checkout) as that will generate a 
patch that can easily be applied to the source tree without having to 
manually edit all files, for details see [2].
