For the record, the patch is about making it _optional_ to build all 3 app bundles. I've been trying to debug building the plugins** and it helped me to not have to build and delete three apps before the next go round. And the time savings sure didn't hurt.
Beyond that, I question how many Mac users are actually using either MythAVTest.app or MythWelcome.app. I've been following the Myth mailings lists for about 4 years and I've never seen a Mac user mention either one. There is minimal documentation on either. (I created the MythAVTest wiki page in 2009 after finding some notes in doxygen.)

**With the last svn checkout of .24-fixes...
MythBrowser, MythGallery, MythMusic, MythVideo and MythNews build OK and appear to work. MythNetvision won't build claiming the Python bindings are missing. I just got MythWeather to build but haven't tested it. Plan to have a go at MythArchive if I can find some more time.
