Actually, even the latter 2 log files seem to indicate a problem in 
programinfo handling.

So, out of curiosity, Eric and tjharris, are you by any chance using 
MySQL 5.5?  If so, the real issue could be 
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/8585 (which will be extremely 
difficult to fix without any concrete reports of what paths result in 
sending invalid date formats to MySQL).
