[mythtv] Mythfrontend hangs when trying to ffw or rew

Hi all,
I am using trunk and since a week I have this problem. When watching a 
recording everything is fine but when I try to ffw or rew I get a bunch 
of the followings:

It takes 30s to settle and then playback resumes and I can go back and 
forth with nor more hangs. This never happened before.
Its a BE/FE on intel IGP (XV only, no VDPAU/XvMC).
Did something change recently that could explain this?
I can provide more info if this is something unknown.
