[mythtv] compile error building win32 port

Ok.  I downloaded the patch files, but I don't know how to apply them.  I copied the files into their matching file's directory.  Then ran 'patch -p0 -i [patchfile] > patch.txt', but it failed.

Any help would be appreciated...steve---
