Yeah, the fieldorder filter. It should appear as "Interlaced (x2)", but
only if you select a render method it supports (which does not include
vdpau, as you say). And it's only for use when matching screen mode
exactly to content - 480i/576i/1080i content playing to a
480i/576i/1080i screen mode.

I brought it up, only because the way the OP's issue is dealt with
may affect filter.
