You're using trunk of 0.21-fixes ?

I've only verified on 0.21-fixes , but I doubt it would make a
difference on trunk (simply due to how I made the patches)

What are your audio settings? (setup -> general)
Like Stereo or 5.1 , upmixer (passive, etc...)
quality of the SRC upmixer etc...
