I had been observing 6098, and saw that it had been fixed, but what I'm 
seeing is occasional failures of video playback (framebuffer failed too 
many times) errors.  This only seems to happen occaisionally when one 
show ends and a new one begins, as if it's failing to switch to the new 
filename when a new ringbuffer filename is started
