Yes, I thought of the Apple remote while writing the message and
should have mentioned it, especially given that I have one myself
(from that era, after Front Row's introduction, during which Apple
bundled a remote with all of its computers)! I do find it hard to
believe that many MythTV users would use it long term, though; I am a
fan of Apple's minimalism in many ways, but there is such a thing as
too much (or too little, in this case).
