[mythtv] Customizing the main menu screen

Hi

Is it some how possible to customize the main menu screen with more  
content than just the menu?

What I would like, is to be able to see news from a news feed, see my  
Google calendar and weather information on one screen.
Something like this:

Maybe if it was possible to have web-content in the background,  
instead of just an image?

It would be very cool if this was possible. Then when I turn on my  
HTPC, I see the upcoming events, and news which I find interesting and  
so on...
