[mythtv] Commflagger issues

Hai,

i have a  problem with commflagger

i have checked the commflagger but my system is not detecting them i have
doubts?

is the comflagger marks(start and stop of commercials)  kept in database at
recording  time  or  i should  run  any option  again  on  my  recorded
vedio  ? to skip that commercials

Does it work for live tv ?if it work how to make it work  ?
