Thanks for this info.  It seems to be a set of tools built around the 
same Metakine/Makira source code for the requant engine and might have 
the same problem, but it's clearly worth some investigation.  There's 
another package, ported to C++ for Windows and called ReJig0.5f, that 
began in the same way, but a backport from that looks less attractive...
