Hi,

Can someone help me achieve the above, since my bug report didn't went 
through?

As I stated in the bug report, my CFLAGS are stripped and autodetected 
by the configure script, so if I'm not supposed to use PIC on x86_32, 
then why does it get enabled?

To me it seems more like a bug in the configure script that needs to be 
fixed.

Can someone tell me how to make this work?
