Hi Daniel

Ah - I'd already found that thread but assumed that closing the ticket
meant it had been implemented.

Unfortunately, even if such a facility existed it wouldn't help much!!

My satellite provider (Sky NZ) means using a STB with svideo out to a
PVR150 for capture (firewire is totally unknown here!!). The capture is
properly matched to the STB output but the provider seems unsure on how to
transmit a consistant picture - sometimes its full screen 16:9, sometimes
stretched 5:4 to 16:9, sometimes its pillar boxed 5:4 and sometimes its
letterboxed 16:9 but assumes a 5:4 STB setup. Its the last case that I've
only been able to fix with a vertical stretch and no amount of fiddling
with the STB or capture card will correct for what the provider
transmits!!

Since its only a 13 line patch and provides symmetry with the existing
horizontal stretch can I ask you to reconsider?

Cheers
