[mythtv] 3 Minor problems: #1 Tearing in OSD

SVN trunk 20070, fedora 10, w Nvidia 180.44

HD and SD playback are fine, but the OSD is torn across the screen and 
unreadable.
Most intriguing, id that if I save a bookmark, stop playback and restart 
the program, the OSD comes up cleanly, and is viewable for whatever I do 
thereafter during the playback.

Without doing the restart, the OSG screens, whatever they are, are 
unreadable.

This is a minor WAF irritant. I suspect it might be related to the use 
of vdpau but have nothing beyond suspicions.

Has anyone else seen this, or do I have gremlins?
