I have the same problem with some of my dvd discs. It's been on my list
of things to debug and add to a ticket at some point. Mplayer doesn't
have a problem but it uses liba52 to decode the ac3 so it's a problem
within ffmpeg's decoder somewhere as far as I can tell.
I'll try and get a couple of discs together that display the problem.
In my case it definitely is the ac3 track that has the problem, I got
that far with debugging.
