Changes/patches etc. are generally best submitted via Trac. Also using 
svn diff should output unified diff format by default which is the 
preferred diff format due to the fact it include context and is this 
more readable and is less subject to bit rot for the same reason (e.g. 
it is easier to adapt it to the latest code changes).
