[mythtv] Broke my trunk w/ rpm updates. Now getting undefined symbol? Ideas

FWIW, it's generally a good idea to install into a custom prefix rather 
than /usr so that you don't conflict with system versions.

I genernally compile with --prefx=/usr/local/myth and set my 
LD_LIBARY_PATH and PATH appropriate. If i want rid of this verion later 
I just do rm -rf /usr/local/myth.
