Last night, I back-ported them to my release, and they certainly did 
no harm. They may have even solved an occasional problem I've been 
having all along: sometimes when playing a program for the first time 
using a playback group that included time stretch, the video would be 
somewhat choppy until I paused playback and restarted it. This seems 
to have gone away.

IIRC, the only change I had to make to get the patches to work with 
FIXES had to do with kAudioRingBufferSize/AUDBUFSIZE difference.
