The main reason these patches haven't been submitted for Myth
inclusion is that they are to accommodate Bell Express-View, Dish
Network and Astra in Europe, which use a slightly modified version of
DVB-S, along with supporting "Extended" EIT data on specific channels.
Including them within the main Myth tree would break all the other
DVB/ATSC systems Myth supports, so they're kept as separate. It could
be an option to have them included, but disabled by default, with
switches to enable/disable them, or to create new "Tuning Type" rules
(Or something similar) so they can be picked at setup.

And (with these patches) with a proper CI card, CAM reader, and
"Full-Featured Card" (which are available, and have the necessary
hardware to decrypt signals using a CI), you *can* watch DN/BEV
legally, making full use of your purchased subscription, while not
being tied to a provided box/DVR system.
