First, let me salute the effort behind multi-rec!

But ... I have a weirdness issue that's quite possibly just me and my
system, so I'll seek advice here for now.

With one front end running and watching live tv on channel 2 for example,
when a second frontend fires up on the same tuner card, the only channels
presented for selection are 2, 20, 22, 201, 202, ...

If the first frontend is on channel 7, then the only channels the second
frontend can present for selection are 7, 70, 71, 72, 73 etc.

It appears as if the first character of the channel number in use limits
the channel selection on subsequent frontends operating on the same tuner.
Attempting to switch channels by directly entering the channel number fail,
unless the number entered starts with a match.

Since *nobody* else has reported this, it does have the feel of a local
system or operator issue. Any advice (short of outright ridicule!) would be
gratefully received.
