I'm still seeing the segfault after rebuilding the plugins - it's 
probably my fault. I'm running a make clean and rebuild at the moment, I 
bet that'll sort it.

I've swapped to the internal decoder and it's working just as well as 
a52 dec - there doesn't seem to be any particular difference for me.
