I know there is a catch about some headers that you should get from the 
multiproto tree (same problem when you want to compile the patched szap 
and scan). IIRC there were: frontend.h and some others (perhaps a make 
install in the multiproto is enough)
I did not test the patch BTW, so I don't know if it compiles actually, 
but the author reported success with it so...
