You need to fix your keybindings. I.e., if you don't use MHEG/ITV,
remove the binding of F7 to MENUTEXT, or if you use it, ensure that its
binding is different from that of SIGNALMON.
Note that this doesn't fix the issue that caused the problem for
you--the fact that the MENUTEXT is registered with a default binding of
F7, which is also used for SIGNALMON. Other ITV/Teletext bindings are
F2 = ITV/MENURED, Teletext/MENURED
F3 = ITV/MENUGREEN, Teletext/MENUGREEN
F4 = ITV/MENUYELLOW, Teletext/MENUYELLOW
F5 = ITV/MENUBLUE, Teletext/MENUBLUE
F6 = ITV/TEXTEXIT, Teletext/MENUWHITE
F7 = ITV/MENUTEXT, Teletext/TOGGLEBACKGROUND, TV Playback/SIGNALMON
It looks to me like the F7 overlap with SIGNALMON is the only
inappropriate overlap for "default" bindings, but since I don't know ITV
or Teletext, I couldn't say for sure.
