Daniel,

I'm happy to upgrade the headers / openGL to some newer ones, but I'm  
really a FreeBSD guy not a linux one (and not a X11 user under  
FreeBSD either) so a pointer or two towards how to do the OpenGL  
upgrade would be cool if you think this is a better route. (The box  
is only used for MythTV)

I have used yum for installs / upgrades of things in the past on FC4.
