gnome-screensaver-command v2.14.3 (Debian Etch) does not offer
"-inhibit".  And from the logic of the MythTV code I believe the
"--poke" is the right thing, anyway (it is called periodically - the
screen saver should not be disabled but just delayed, or simply the
inactivity timer should be reset - that way you don't need to call the
g-s-c to enable it back if you never disable it).
