I am using your patch since last Thursday and it is working for me
without problems.
Although it is not optimal ... but that is not your patch, it is
probably g-p-m architecture problem.
Example: I have two Xorg servers, mythfrontend does not allow "any of
gnome-screensavers" to be turned on. That means that all other display
will always stay ON, even if not used.
