I don't even get the 1 second of the recording - I just get a flash window
with the message
"Express Install is not supported by this version of the Flash Player. To
upgrade please visit......."

and like you I'm on the latest version (9.0.31.0) on my Gentoo box. My
kubuntu and Win2000 boxes at work are fine however.
