[mythtv] [mythtv-commits] Ticket #2335: LiveTV hangs when a recording is finished and a new on starts (no channel change)

I am experiencing what I believe to be the same issue. It seems there may be a race condition on switching to a new file on program change (not channel change). I see the behavior sometime just watching live-tv without recording, but also while a program is being recorded. For example, last night as I was watching a program at the same time it was being recorded, the playback abruptly came to a stop, and I then went to verify the program was still in process of recording. I started playback of the program and it played back flawlessly, as long as I was a sufficient time back from the current recording position. It seems that it is attempting to play back faster than the recording is being done.

It's still present with 12675, which I compiled yesterday and tested
last night.
