[mythtv] Time problems with latest trunk svn?

I just experienced this problem.  The issue for me was that upgrading to 
a newer version of the debian mythtv packages on my slave backend 
installed a new file called mysql.txt in ~mythtv/.mythtv/mysql.txt.
That file was used on startup, overriding the file I have in 
/etc/mythtv/mysql.txt, and setting a bogus value for 
DBHostName=localhost.  So, when my slave tried to startup, it couldn't 
find the master DB since it was looking on itself, instead of the master 
BE, and, in my case, failing on the connect to the DB.

May not be your situation, but something to look at.
