Thanks for the tip. The chip is an ALC1986A. I've tried several asoundrc
variants that work fine when the audio output is digital only, but fail
when I attempt to feed the analogue out at the same time as the spdif.

Also regardless off the problems with the audio frequency I still have
the stuttering audio to deal with.
