Today is the first time that I have had MythTV working under CentOS 5.  
I'm running the ATrpms 'bleeding' build with a new AVerMedia PCI card 
that will not, I hope, suffer from the limited-hardware-filter artefacts 
that I had previously.  I'll let you know how it goes.
