[mythtv] Getting started with the OpenGL video renderer

Hi all,

I'm running the latest Trunk RPMs from ATRPMs and noticed that the  
OpenGL renderer has started to make an appearance in the video  
playback settings, and as such, I'm keen to give it a whirl, as from  
what I understand, OpenGL rendered video handles framerate upscaling  
much better (e.g. 50Hz PAL via VGA at 60Hz).

Whenever I set the renderer to OpenGL (with Standard, XvMC or  
libmpeg2), my frontend logs show something similar to:

VideoOutputXv: Desired video renderer 'opengl' not available.
codec 'MPEG2' makes 'xv-blit,xshm,xlib,' available, using 'xv-blit'  
instead.

What am I missing? Output of `glxgears -info` follows this e-mail.
