MythTV's UI code has now reached the point beyond which full backwards 
compatibility for themes has been lost.   Right now it's quite minimal 
but will soon begin to show a lot more.

What this means for theme designers is - it's no longer realistically 
possible to maintain one version of a theme which will work for trunk 
and the major release version.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that's how it is.  Don't get me 
wrong - this is all for the common good.  Sure it means a heck of a lot 
of work ahead for use theme guys but long term it's better for everyone.
