On imported videos?  I'm simply trying to play xvid encoded content in
mythvideo and it's always done this.

Just curious as to why the devs think this is invalid as a bug
request?  I tend to agree with the OP that this is a bug.  Regardless,
why would sound ever be played during FF/RW?  It's annoying, and I can
deal with it (as I have for about 2 years), but still a bug none the
less.  Not to mention that there's obviously a difference in the
internal player handling mpeg2 content (FF/RW works just find with no
sound) and xvid content (I hear sound during ff/rw)
