It gets the latest information. Just like a Set Top Box we keep info
about what channels are being broadcast, and sometimes the broadcasters
change the information, so we have to update. STB's will normally do
this automatically, we no longer do, because it was causing too many
problems with channels & schedules disappearing

Can you get the output of mythtv-setup --verbose siparser,record,channel
for attempts to scan for SBS?
