I agree after the last thread about bounties. I know however this
feature is very much wanted by a LOT of people here in the UK
(everyone with a dvb card i expect) I also understand it is quite
involved to get it working properly. Hopefully it will progress and be
included in myth (myth will then outperform every other open/closed
source tv software for dvb(-t) by a mile).

Given the (correct) closure of the trac ticket it would be nice to
maybe have a page somewhere which can host patches and information
about the progress of this. Is the wiki suitable? That way effort
could be pooled and once ready it can be posted to trac.
