discussion, I might as well chime in. When this goes in, on my system
(at least) the exit playback prompt will provide options for me:
You are exiting this recording
Save this position and go to the menu
Do not save, just exit to the menu
Mark as watched and exit to the menu
Keep watching
Delete this recording
If the code that's committed doesn't contain similar options, I'll make
a patch (that will be applied to my system--whether or not it's accepted
for trunk) to contain them. Of course, this will only be useful for
people like me who actually use the exit playback prompt.
But, with this approach, Myth doesn't make the decision for me. So,
whatever logic you decide to use for detection works for me. ;)
