Why not have a range of auto-expiration values (this is what it is used 
for, right?) that are based on the percentage watched or by minutes.  
That way, something I've watched 10% of will not be expired before 
something I've watched 90% of, or visa-versa depending on the logic.  
Trying to determine a threshold for a cutoff may be a losing proposition 
but something that scaled auto-expiration priority by the percentage of 
the show watched would get things right almost all the time.
