i wouldn't know: i don't run linux.

i know the difference between 0.4.x and 0.5.x and greater is that the
eeprom en tuner modules moved to the kernel.

i don't know wether it replaces the kernel modules, or if the recent
kernel modules are compatible with 0.4.x or if you need to replace
them.

why are you posting this on mythtv-lists? it has nothing to do with mythtv.
