The packager stripped it, I attached a backtrace from unstripped  
libraries. Is there something in particular you suspect? I could do  
some actual debugging with some info of what to look for.

I'm not willing to track svn at this time. If this goes nowhere I'll  
stick with xine and see what the next release brings.
