Same thing here. It looks like MythTV doesn't cache video file enough. It 
happens 4 times of 5 that video starts chopping quite beginning and after 
that it never stop. Only solution is to exit viewer and start again
end. With 2x speed it happens almost 100% times. At the same time Mplayer 
can play these files over NFS without any problem.
